This business is simple: just explain to people that we all have a right to choose . . . if we don’t choose a 3^rd party low cost energy supplier, then NJ chooses for you and you get the “provider of last resort” which is not a very good deal:

Only certain states have de-regulated their local utilities and allow 3rd party suppliers of power. Today Viridian Energy is only servicing Connecticut.and Pennsylvania (PPL)

By Spring 2010 Viridian will be in  New Jersey (PSEG & JCPL) & MD (BGE)

Most of us have heard about a few direct-selling companies from Texas that sell electricity in their state. There have been some great success stories. These companies launched around 2005 and 2006 and have grown quite quickly, creating a lot of residual wealth for a lot of people. Frank and I always thought it was a great idea. So when we heard that not only was this concept coming to the Northeast, but it had a GREEN component, we were very interested. Think of the impact we can make when we have 100’s of thousands of people choosing Green energy.
